JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Director, Certification Services, the Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the client and customer service needs of the organization in a professional, timely manner and in alignment with the business activities of the Green Building Programs and corporate strategies.

The position facilitates communication between clients and certification reviewers, providing excellent customer service as well as processing certification submissions through various platforms and tools, ensuring efficient and timely workflow, and accurate, detailed project tracking. The green building programs supported include Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Zero Carbon Building (ZCB), and others.

This position is an existing vacancy on the Green Buildings Program team.

Location: Work in a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified Gold office building in downtown Ottawa, Toronto or Vancouver.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Services
• Respond to client and general inquires by phone, email (generic inboxes as assigned) and
website inquiries.
• Maintain lines of communication and understanding of timelines, and review milestones
between staff, clients and third parties.
• Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner, with thoughtful and accurate
technical guidance, including adding in responses from reviewers as necessary and notifying peers of tasks.

Team Support
• Ensure project submissions are complete, properly recorded in the central database
and accurately maintained and recorded as they progress through the review stages.
• Compile certification reports through the retrieval of data and documentation for LEED, ZCB and other programs.
• Enter questions and client information, and triage to peers, technical customer service inquiries within a database management system.
• Adhere to communication procedures, certification guidelines and policies to ensure consistent
delivery of the certification program.
• Strive for continuous improvement within the green building programs, including suggesting improvements to processes and tools to improve client experience and internal efficiency.

Other Responsibilities
• Perform related responsibilities and duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Compensation

$52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
